Members of PACEs Connection are invited, at no charge, to register now and attend Scars to STARs Day (STARs Day), a free annual global event supporting survivors of toxic abusive relationships on Friday, May 16 from 9 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

STARs stands for Survivors of Toxic Abusive Relationships, and the STARNetwork offers free, regularly-scheduled and anonymous online recovery meetings via TARANON, as well as this annual event to all seeking to learn about and recover from toxic abusive relationships.

Event organizers say the virtual gathering is “STAR Network’s gift to the world for Mental Health Awareness Month.”

The Hon. Patrick J. Kennedy will keynote the event, and will be joined by a slate of internationally-recognized leaders in mental and addiction health who are bringing the importance of recognizing the impact of toxic abusive relationships across the lifespan, and in all corners of our lives.

Event organizer and founder of the STARNetwork, Jaime Huysman, PhD, who is also the chief compassion officer of WellMed Medical Management, says he wants to highlight the vital focus of trauma-informed recovery in the areas of attachment disorders and narcissistic abuse.
